The Trust will hold an extensive exhibition of over 80 works by Barbara Rae CBE RA
The Exhibition will be held at the MacLaurin Art Gallery, set within the magnificent grounds of Rozelle Park in Ayr, from
22 June to 8 September.
The show will feature early Scottish works as well as many from Barbara Rae’s previous Spanish, Irish, and Lammermuir series.

Rae chooses to visit key places that provide her with first-hand insight into an area’s specific social history. This latest exhibition held at The MacLaurin Gallery delves into how Rae has perceived and interpreted the land throughout her career, often revisiting specific locations frequently to view and capture the ever-evolving environment.
